Dr. Kline was born on Galveston Island, Texas and is the son of a famous Texas Sheriff, J. B. Kline, Sr., who served in law enforcement for over 50 years and as Galveston County Sheriff for more than 20 years.

Dr. Kline attended The University of Texas in Austin Texas and earned a BBA Degree from St. Edwards University with a major in Marketing Research and a minor in Management. Dr. Kline is a board certificate Hypnotherapist and a Dr. of Clinical Hypnotherapy.

Over the years Dr. Kline has faithfully and willingly served the SFHS in many capacities. As Press Release Administrator , interim Treasurer, and currently as Marketing Manager. Mr. Kline has been with SFHS since 1985 assisting with the original genealogical research and documentation. In 1995 he participated in developing the official name and seal of the Seguin Family Historical Society.

Dr. Kline's current position with the SFHS will be broaden to include his present position of Press Release Administrator and will be combined with his current appointment of Public Information Officer.
